SOCCER.COM/Nike Don't Tread on Me - CSS Stylesheet (May 2006)

Project Details: Nike produced a very limited edition send off jersey for the final warm up game prior to the 2006 World Cup. They wanted us to work with their interactive ad agency (Odopod) to create a three day takeover of Soccer.com's front page and the Nike brand section to celebrate the send off and draw attention to the jersey.

Project Processs: First, Odopod created a Photoshop comp for us to work from. Next, I sliced up the images to be used in the new design. Then, I created a new stylesheet that was loaded after all of the main site stylesheets for Soccer.com. This overwrote many of the default styles and color of Soccer.com and enabled the alternate look to work without having to recode the layout of the site. After a few revisions, and plenty of cross-browser testing the new look was complete.
