FIFAWorldCupStore.com - (October - December 2005)

Primary Goal: To build the official North American store for 2006 FIFA World Cup that closely matches the look and feel of the official 2006 FIFA World Cup web site.

Project Details: FIFA provided us with an overall site styleguide to follow for colors, fonts, and dimensions. At the time the project was started in the fall of 2005, the official FIFA World Cup site was built with a table based layout. Since we knew that this site would get heavy traffic during the world cup, I decided the site would have to be built with CSS/XHTML in order to optimize page load time and keep site maintenance to a minimum. During the first week of the 2006 FIFA World Cup, the store hosted 4.2 million page views.
